The Practical Life curriculum includes Preliminary Exercises where the child learns the basic movements of all societies such as pouring, folding, and carrying. In the Applied Exercises, the child learns about the care and maintenance that helps everyday life with activities like the care of person and environment. In the Grace and Courtesy Exercises, the children work on the interactions of people to people. In the Control of Movement Exercises, the child learns about his own movements and learns how to refine his coordination through such activities as walking on the line.
The Sensorial Activities curriculum assists the child in understanding the sensorial dimensions of the world and develops the child's perceptual abilities in the discrimination of Visual Sense Exercises related to size, color, shape etc., Auditory Sense Exercises related to sound, Olfactory Sense Exercises related to smell, Gustatory Sense Exercises related to taste, Stereognostic, Thermic, Tactile, Baric Sense Exercises related skin or touch.
The Mathematics curriculum provides concrete experiences and allows the child to internalize the concepts in five families of math decimal system, arithmetic, geometry, statistics and calculus. The concepts covered in the class includes counting, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, concept of numbers, fractions, odd & even, orders, comparison and money exercises.
The Cultural Work curriculum exposes the child to basics in geography, history and life sciences, physical sciences. Books, role play, real life objects, experiments, different activities of science and different effective Montessori materials are used for learning new and different cultures. We also educate the child in plant care ,animal care and cookery along with the celebration of global festivals.
The Creative Development curriculum provides experiences in the arts & crafts, in dance, music, role play, rhymes and stories etc. children are encouraged throughout their journey within the Montessori to participate in all these creative activities
The Language curriculum includes oral language development, written expression, reading, speech, grammar, creative dramatics and children's literature. Writing and reading are developed through the use of sandpaper letters, tactile alphabets and presentations that allow children to effortlessly link sounds and letter symbols and to express their thoughts in writing.
